In cooperation with WDR, we designed posters for the 36th and 37th German Camera Awards and created an animated version of the poster for digital media. The goal was to visually convey the theme of moving images in the film and television industry on a DIN A1 poster and to motivate filmmakers to participate in the German Camera Award.

I came up with three different designs. For the first poster, I used the camera lens as the motif. Different circles symbolize different focal
lengths, which are crucial for perspective and image framing. My second poster focuses on the motif of light, which shapes the mood and directs the viewer’s gaze. At the same time, it refers to the Camera Award gala and the aesthetics of the 21st Century Fox film studio. The third poster shows the aperture as a central element for cinematographers. It determines how much light enters the camera and influences the image effect. For the first two designs, I also developed a series of posters with different color combinations.
