About

Elena Schmitz is a Cologne-based visual designer focusing on branding, editorial design, motion design and visual identity. Working across different cultures and design disciplines, her multidisciplinary practice is driven by concept, visual storytelling, and experimentation. With a particular interest in contemporary graphic design, typography, and technologies, she explores new digital tools and ways of making to create thoughtful visual narratives. She is currently studying at Köln International School of Design (KISD) in Cologne, Germany, and recently completed a semester abroad at Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) in Providence, RI, USA.
