Event OrganizationInglorious Bodies is an immersive, interactive feminist installation that addresses taboo topics surrounding the female body and the realities of life for FLINTA* individuals. The exhibition was first presented at the Britney X Festival 2024 at the Köln Schauspiel, attracting around 1,000 visitors. The aim of the installation is to question social taboos such as shame, desire, violence, and stigmatization and to create a space for diverse experiences of FLINTA* people. We designed the seating area, developed the interactive centerpiece of the exhibition to encourage visitors to contribute their own stories, and collected stories submitted anonymously via social media, which we then edited and had professionally recorded by actresses in the audio lab. The installation gave visitors the chance to listen to personal stories through headphones and to write down their own experiences on a large roll of paper. It received consistently positive feedback and touched many visitors emotionally, so there are now plans to show the exhibition at other locations.
